Oppose the 5G Towers at 100 Horatio and 100 Jane Streets

In spite of a finding that they would adversely affect protected historic resources, 32-ft.-tall metallic 5G transmission towers are still being proposed for near 100 Jane and 100 Horatio Streets along Washington Street in the West Village. These ungainly and arguably unnecessary towers would stick out like sore thumbs against the backdrop of their historic surroundings. The company seeking permission to site them is making flimsy arguments that leaves from street trees will mitigate the impact of the towers, and the fact that they are near modern buildings blunts their impact, in spite of their also being near many other structures 100 to 200 years old.
