Protect Alpine Lakes Wilderness from new dams and other development

There’s a proposal on the table to build new dams and other water infrastructure in Alpine Lakes Wilderness, one of the most beloved and frequently visited spots in the North Cascades. This is part of the same Icicle Watershed that people visit from around the country to fish, float and raft. The proposed development would do irrevocable damage to the wilderness and set a dangerous precedent.

The public agencies leading this work have to find a better path forward – one that doesn’t sacrifice wilderness in this treasured alpine valley.

Please take a moment to submit a letter before July 30, 2018, and weigh in on the Icicle Water Resource Management Strategy.
