Hispanic Federation (HF) is kicking off its advocacy campaign demanding Congress extend the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which is set to run out of funding by Spring 2024.
The ACP is a federal program that helps bridge the digital divide by lowering the out-of-pocket cost of broadband service for low-income, working families. With its imminent expiration, HF leaders and partners are demanding members of Congress support the White House’s current $6 billion funding request before the ACP expires this Spring.
More than 21 million households rely on the ACP to stay connected, including many Latino individuals and families. Disrupting the program would cut off millions of households from the internet, which they rely on for school, work, health and other everyday essentials.
Join us in calling Congress to fully find this program that millions of families rely on!
