The Action Fund works at the legislative and grassroots levels to ensure public lands have a robust voice on Capitol Hill and at the ballot box. That means fighting against policies that would ramp up reckless drilling and mining; advocating solutions to the climate crisis that start with tackling carbon pollution from public lands; and permanently protecting treasured cultural sites, wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation spots.
What you can do right now to make a difference
-
Make sure you're registered to vote
First things first: well before any election, you should make sure you’re eligible to vote and check your registration status.
Depending on where you live, you may need to bring a form of ID or other materials with you to the polls, so make sure you have what you need.

Get the word out to friends and family
One of the most impactful things you can do is also one of the simplest: ask your parents, neighbors, coworkers and friends whether they’re registered and ready to vote. You can also share our tools on social media to spread the word about important public lands issues.
