Take action to support the Right to Farm Act

Michigan Farm Bureau is urging the state’s Agriculture & Rural Development Commission to vote on January 30th in support of removing zoning references from the Generally Accepted Agricultural and Management Practices on site selection. We believe this change protects the Right to Farm Act’s integrity and is in line with the Attorney General’s opinion earlier this year that reaffirmed the law’s preemption of local zoning.
