Tell Congress: Include Immigrant Families in the Stimulus

Right now, Congress is negotiating a stimulus package to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and the damage it’s done to our communities.

Republican leaders are trying to exclude millions of immigrants because of their immigration status, at the same time that immigrants are on the front lines delivering food, staffing grocery stores and warehouses, and providing vital care services.

On the table right now is a proposal to get direct cash payments through the IRS to taxpayers, but Republican leadership wants to exclude millions of immigrant taxpayers who pay taxes using their ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number).

This stimulus can and must be directed to the people who are most directly affected, including those who have lost jobs and hours and front line workers. It must include us all. Call your members of Congress now to demand all people, regardless of immigration status, are included in the stimulus.Enter your information to take action now!
