Support Chief Nursing Officer of the Commonwealth Legislation

How can we transform our State's healthcare system? Strong leadership - including that of the registered nurse. It is imperative that RNs work as full partners with physicians and other health professionals to realize the goals of healthcare reform. Governor-appointed cabinet officials and committee members lack the engagement of RNs, the largest (and most trusted) segment of providers. Developing the role of Chief Nursing Officer of the Commonwealth allows RNs and other healthcare providers to work collaboratively toward the health and wellness of the citizens of the Commonwealth. I encourage you to support Rep. Oberlander's legislation (HB 409) .
