Incorporating biofuels into our nation’s fuel supply has been one of our most successful energy policies to date, benefitting both the environment, the rural economy and the consumer.
With many states and localities increasingly exploring public policy options to lower carbon emissions, biofuels like ethanol have become an affordable and accessible solution for many. Studies show that biofuels can immediately contribute to lowering GHG emissions and reduce harmful air toxics at five to ten cents cheaper on average than traditional gasoline at the pump. The biofuels industry also provides a growing domestic marketplace for corn farmers, helping to keep good paying jobs in rural communities. It's a win-win-win!
Let your elected official know that greater access to higher blends of biofuels, like E15, at the pump the key to a cleaner, greener transportation future.
