Ask Your Senators to Co-Sponsor the Personal Care Product Safety Act

Did you know that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has only six inspectors monitoring three million shipments of cosmetics coming into the U.S. each year? While the beauty industry today has grown to a $62 billion dollar business, the ability of FDA to oversee cosmetics and personal care products has changed little since 1938, the last time Congress passed a major federal law regarding cosmetic safety.

Consumers are demanding greater choice, transparency and accountability in the products they use everyday. Ask your Senator to co-sponsor the Personal Care Products Safety Act to ensure safer beauty laws!
