Urge the Senate to Confirm Dr. Colleen Shogan as Archivist of the United States!

In August 2022, President Biden nominated Dr. Colleen Joy Shogan as the 11th Archivist of the United States (AOTUS) On March 15, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted to send Dr. Shogan’s nomination to the full Senate for confirmation.

We need to urge the Senate to confirm Dr. Shogan’s nomination as soon as possible. Former-AOTUS David S. Ferriero retired nearly a year ago. It's vital that we have a permanent Archivist of the United States in place at this critical time in our nation’s history.
