Act TODAY to tell Oklahoma lawmakers to vote against a bill that would put “In God We Trust” in every public school classroom.
Earlier this month we asked you to oppose Oklahoma’s SB 1016, a bill that would require every school board in the state to place the phrase “In God We Trust” in classrooms and libraries of every public school building. Sadly, the bill passed out of the state senate unanimously.
However, the House Rules Committee now has an opportunity to kill this theocratic bill. Please reach out to the eleven members of this committee and urge them to oppose SB 1016.
