Ask Your Senator to Support the Conservation Bank

If not reauthorized by June 2018, South Carolina's groundbreaking Conservation Bank will be forced to shut down.
Over the past 14 years, the Bank’s competitive grants process has led to the voluntary protection of more than 300,000 acres of special places in nearly every corner of the state.
The Bank is one of the best, proactive tools we have for protecting our special places -- the outdoor landscapes that define us as a people and a state.

H.4727 (by Rep. White and others) will reauthorize the Bank permanently, while reforming and reworking some of the structure of the Bank and the way in which funds are managed and disbursed.
This bill has passed the House, and now must be approved by the Senate.

The Conservation Bank is an innovative funding tool for protecting what makes South Carolina unique. We cannot afford to lose it.
