Tennessee Hearings On Sanctuary Bills

On March 7, the Tennessee Senate State and Local Government Committee will be holding a public hearing on Senate Bill 155, which strengthens Tennessee’s preexisting prohibition on sanctuary policies and conditions state funding on a public entity’s willingness to cooperate with federal officials. Sanctuary policies tie the hands of law enforcement and other government officials by prohibiting or restricting their cooperation with federal immigration officials, dangerously allowing criminal aliens to live and work freely in communities. The hearing will be held at 10:30am in Room 12.

Contact members of the Committee today and tell them you support ending dangerous sanctuary policies!
