Urge Texas State Representatives to Reject Discriminatory "Bathroom Bills!"

Right now, Texas lawmakers are considering a slew of anti-transgender "bathroom bills" that, if passed, could legalize discrimination across the state.

Gov. Abbott has publicly admitted these bills are about targeting transgender people for discrimination.

Meanwhile, leaders in law enforcement, business, and faith communities have spoken out en masse denouncing these bills and urging state lawmakers to focus on what's important: Growing the economy and keeping our neighborhoods safe—not discriminatory attacks on marginalized and vulnerable populations.

Make your voice heard and contact your representatives now.

Hi, my name is __________ and I live in __________. I'm calling to urge Representative _________ to reject discriminatory bathroom bills like HB 46 & HB 50. If these bills pass they would send the message that Texas isn't open, making it a less desireble place to raise a family, buy a home, and start a business. Already, the mere consideration of discriminatory legislation has cost Texas $66 million and if they were to become law, the total losses would total $5.6 billion. Discrimination isn't a Texas value. I urge you to reject these bills.
