Support our nation's bus and motorcoach industry with HR2120

Dear UMA Member and Friends,

If you have ever hoped for regulatory relief from Washington, I have some good news and I need your help.

The good news is that Rep. Scott Perry has introduced a comprehensive regulatory reform bill, HR 2120, that, if passed, will result in numerous benefits to our industry and the traveling public that relies on bus and motorcoach operators. This measure has the potential to deliver expanded investment to our industry, improved safety and stepped up job creation by reducing and streamlining federal regulations and the regulatory process.

I strongly encourage you to get involved and to share this email with colleagues and employees so they can join this critical campaign for our industry. Champions of this legislation are working to have it included in whole or in part in any infrastructure legislation Congress acts upon, so quick and decisive action is needed.

Your support in this matter will help to make a difference as we seek common sense regulatory reform, increased safety, and growth for the bus and motorcoach industry.

Representative Scott Perry recently introduced H.R. 2120 - Buses United for Safety, Regulatory Reform, and Enhanced Growth for the 21st Century (BUSREGS-21).

If passed, this comprehensive regulatory reform bill will result in improved safety, expanded investments, and job creation in the bus and motorcoach industry by reducing and streamlining Federal regulations and improving the regulatory process.

The bus and motorcoach industry plays a vital role in providing access to jobs, education, healthcare, and tourism with an unparalleled level of safety; consistently ranking as one of the safest modes of surface transportation in the Nation by prioritizing safety and actively seeking new and innovative best practices, to enhance safe operations.

This bill is important to our business, community, and my family. I am seeking your support and consideration to cosponsor the bill and to support as many of its provisions as possible to be included in an infrastructure package the Congress will consider later this year.
