On March 6, the House of Representatives passed RAY BAUM's Act (H.R. 4986), which creates a framework to reimburse full-power and low-power TV and FM radio stations, as well as TV translators for their repack costs.
This is a great step forward for broadcasters. However, our job is not yet done. While this bill provides the mechanism for reimbursing broadcasters, it is up to the appropriators to release the additional funds.
