On Wednesday, March 15, the Texas House Committee on State Affairs is holding a public hearing on Senate Bill 4, critical anti-sanctuary legislature to promote public safety and ensure enforcement of immigration law. Sanctuary policies block local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration officials, allowing criminal aliens to live and work freely in communities.
In addition to prohibiting localities from enacting sanctuary policies, Senate Bill 4 requires law enforcement to comply with detainer requests issued by federal immigration officials. The hearing will begin at 10:30am.
Contact the Committee today and tell them to support Senate Bill 4!
