Demand a Passenger Bill of Rights!

United went too far in violently removing a passenger because their flight was overbooked, but airlines have been preying on passengers for a long time as it is. We deserve consumer protections that prevent airlines from putting profits over their passengers.

A Passenger Bill of Rights would includeForbidding carriers from forcibly removing passengers already on the plane who do not pose safety risks to other passengers or staff; Guaranteed flight cancelation fee paid to passengers who are bumped on flights; Carriers cannot keep passengers on the tarmac for longer than 2 hours, if they exceed this time they must return to the gate.

Tell your elected leaders that we need a Passenger Bill of Rights NOW!
