Tell Congress to protect patients from religious discrimination!

Take action to protect patients from religious discrimination!

Please use this automated system to contact your representatives and urge them to support a bill to eliminate the newly created, disastrous HHS Conscience and Religious Freedom Division. This bill was introduced this week by Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-N.M.) and aims to stop government-sanctioned religious bigotry against U.S. citizens at their most vulnerable and helpless moments.

Tell your members of Congress that the government should not allow, much less encourage, doctors to refuse to treat patients in need based on their personal religious beliefs. U.S. Citizens should not live in fear that their health needs will not be met because of lax anti-discrimination protections. This division must be abolished.

As a secular constituent, I urge Representative (name of your representative) to support H.R. 5123 to eliminate the Health and Human Services Conscience and Religious Freedom Division, which allows medical professionals to refuse to treat individuals on moral or religious grounds. The government should not permit, much less encourage, doctors to refuse to treat patients in need based on their personal religious beliefs. U.S. Citizens should not live in fear that their health needs will not be met because of lax anti-discrimination protections.

I'm asking the representative to stand up for the health care of all American citizens and support H.R. 5123.
