The Issue:

The Assembly has introduced AB 175 which will significantly increase Nevada’s minimum wage from $7.25 to $14 an hour (if an employer offers health care) and $8.25 to $15 an hour (if an employer does not offer health care). There will also be an incremental increase of $1.25/hour each year until it reaches the above thresholds.

How it affects your restaurant:

If this bill is successful, restaurants and small businesses across the state of Nevada will see an increase in minimum wage. This will drive up operational and consumer costs, which is just plain bad for business.
