DACA protects 800,000 young immigrants, who have never known a home other than the United States, from deportation. DACA-mented young people are able to seek otherwise unavailable educational and work opportunities. This program is a small step in the right direction for US immigration policy, but the Trump administration wants to take it away!
If Congress doesn't act, DACA will end in March 2018. The Dream Act would make DACA permanent and add a path to citizenship. Ask your members of Congress to pass a clean Dream Act (S.1615/H.R. 3440)!
